Collaboration Stories # 1
LEOCA Maison Parisienne x S.Danjou
Une collaboration « Coup de cœur / coup de cuir »
It was during a show that Maud’s eye was irresistibly attracted to Stéphanie’s leather bags.Practical bags with a minimalist and contemporary design, like Leoca.
From this meeting it quickly created a collaboration followed by a friendship around the same keywords :
passion, boiling, creation
They meet up in Paris and, like craftswomen, at the corner of a coffee table, they draw, exchange, play with the shapes, the colors of the bottoms of bags, the knots to girdle. A small Jacqueron in short hair sign theircollaboration. Their goal: to give this noble and classic material a style of Leoca.
Stéphanie Danjou is fashion designer and accessories. Graduated from the HEAD of Geneva with an eco-responsible collection, and winner of the Ethical fashion award of Geneva, she goes to Laos with the UN to collaborate with the artisans in the field of silk. A unique human experience, where the combination of design and traditional craftsmanship of weavers has been the starting point for a creative synergy that will not leave it.
After working for designers in clothing in Paris and Barcelona, she trained in the traditional know-how of leather goods by integrating the prestigious Hermès house as a leather craftsman.
From this collaboration it will be born among others:
The taupe purse bag: timeless, thick and soft leather with a soft quilted texture. To wear with a dark color or downright a fluo orange!
The burgundy bag: minimalist and contemporary. Very rigid and structured for more elegance. To wear in the evening with the black Lea dress.
